.You may have seen our previous updates about some of our fragrances being out of stock for an extended period of time.
One of fragrance houses, Agilex, upgraded their software system over the holiday break. It did not go well and we still have outstanding orders placed with them in December and January. They have not been consistent with their communications on the status of our orders so you will see Restock TBD behind several fragrances on the website.
We will list an estimated restock date for any fragrances that we have a confirmed shipping date on. If the estimated restock date is TBD, then we do not have a confirmed shipping date for that fragrance and, unfortunately, won’t be able to give you any additional information. This is very frustrating to us as I am sure it is to you.
Because of this issue, we have sent samples of our out of stock oils to a couple of other fragrance houses to get them duplicated. This will likely be a lengthy process as once we receive the reformulated samples, we will need to test them, etc. Our hope is that we have all fragrances duplicated and replaced in our inventory by the beginning of Summer. Some will be earlier. We will update the website as well as our communications with you as we know more.
This is unprecedented as we have never experienced this with Agilex. We have worked with them for many, many years and they have always been great with their customer service and provide outstanding custom oils for us.
We try and diversify our oils by ordering from five different fragrance houses. This helps us provide a diverse selection of oils and gives us a buffer if something like what is happening now occurs. We are grateful this is not affecting ALL 256 of our fragrances.
