Please note that in our burn tests with the 9” Amber and Clear Straight-Sided Jar, the HTP 1212 gave us the better melt pool using C-3 wax even though the diameter is 2.88”.
The HTP 104 wicks work well for the 4 oz tins and the HTP 1212 work for the 8 oz tins. We were not able to get complete melt pools with the smaller wick sizes, although some of our customers have been able to get good clean burns with HTP 93 and the 4 oz. tins. Just a couple of examples why it is so important to test.

We found the CD 18 wicks to work best for the 9 oz Amber and Clear Straight-Side Jars. Depending on the fragrance, you may need to wick up or down using Golden Wax. If you are using GW 454 Soy/Coconut wax, we recommend wicking down one size from the suggested diameter wick.
