Important message from Karan Hall, owner of Cierra Candles:

With tens of thousands of loyal customers and sales at an all time high, it’s very difficult, but necessary, for me to announce that Cierra Candles will be closing it’s doors on April 30, 2008.

In the 8-1/2 years since Cierra Candles was first started on the pool table of my home, we have become one of the largest suppliers of top quality candle and soap making supplies to artisans and professionals across the world. As a result from the teamwork of all the employees at Cierra Candles, we have earned the reputation for offering the best supplies, service, and support. Not only have we developed thousands of customer relationships, but many dear friends as well.

The decision to close Cierra Candles has been an extremely difficult one for me to make. I have examined many other options in detail. Ultimately, however, because of circumstances in my personal life, this was the decision that had to be made. I realize that this will have an impact on all of our customers, and I welcome offers from other suppliers to help in the transition. Many of you depend on the unique supplies that we offer, and if another supplier would like to carry forward some of our product lines (especially fragrances), it would be beneficial to all. Follow up from Karan Hall, owner of Cierra Candles:

The final orders have all been shipped, and even though Cierra Candles is now officially closed, we want to make sure that you, our customers, are not left without a source for your supplies. I have received a lot of interest from others wanting to continue our products, and I thought I had found a "perfect fit" with another experienced supplier that could carry all of our top selling items. However, negotiations never got off the ground, and I am now working on another solution. I will be making our entire product and vendor information available to the public. This data is the result of over ten years of research and testing, and is solely my intellectual property. I am currently working to make this information secure and confidential, so that it does not become freely posted online. It will be available within the next week or so right here, on the Cierra Candles website, so please keep checking back.

Again, I want to thank all of you for a fantastic 8-1/2 years, and it was sincerely my pleasure to be of service to everyone in the candle making community.
